| In 2009, Mike and I started to build a "webquest" based on 21st Century skills. It has come a long way, as each year it changed and more technology was added. We added Computer Side Chats with google forms, then Diigo group sharing, Google doc collaboration between different schools, edpuzzles, etc.. And this year, added Historical Tweets! | |
To make this work, I built a google form that I called Historical Tweets. Students were asked to think in terms of the character they are role playing and tweet. The form sends the tweet to a spreadsheet. In the spreadsheet the "via" and the hashtag are automatically added. I can read the posts and if I want then click the link to tweet it from my school account: @historyholman .
It is important to remember, I have control of what is tweeted under my name.
