Jc Lenk and I got "golden tickets" to give it a try before it's official release. First, the kids loved it! Keep that in mind. So what is Peadeck Vocabulary? It has student's sign as they normally would into PearDeck. However, the computer puts them on two teams: Day shift and Night shift. They are randomly placed in paris to work together. Both students need a device for it to work. Once the teacher starts the process, one students computer will ask them to write examples (or define) the term. The other students device will ask them to draw an image that represents the term. |
After you have completed the task, the teacher is asked to approve or send back the work. Points are awarded to the approvals and this adds competition to the process. Once you approve/disapprove you can forward the "Deck" over to quizlet to make a study set. With a click of the button you have student created vocabulary cards to students.
