Over the next two days we hope to accomplish several goals:
1. Create a clear understanding of what "student-ownership" means to
your students.
2. Collaborate on ideas concerning the philosophy behind changing teaching & learning.
3. Give you time to create lessons you can use on the first day of school and beyond to create an environment of student ownership.
4. Stay in contact with you throughout this year to offer support, encouragement and reflection as you continue your journey. Below is our powerpoint. It is the framework of the next two days. We will probably jump around, skip slides, repeat slides, etc as we progress. Below the powerpoint is the GoogleDoc where we will share ideas and organize our notes.
