Tonight we talked about a few things, in ESPN "rapid-fire" format. We discussed web filtering in schools, the use of Facebook in the classroom, a great website called Answer Garden, and the use of cell phones with students. Below is the Wiffiti wall that we created. this is really the coolest idea i have ever seen. what a great way to do in class questions and get kids to participate.

Great idea. As long as the AUP allows for it, I think that teachers should be implementing every piece of technology possible in their classroom. Students will be engaged in more meaningful learning an they will take responsibility for their learning. The only concern is that teachers must monitor their students' use of phones in the classroom. Thanks for the idea with AnswerGarden! I already use that technology and this is a great way to engage my students.
